Holiday lighting in Lino Lakes, MN
Warm white C9s, cut to your roofline, hung and looked after all season.
Glass House lights Lino Lakes rooflines each winter with deluxe C9 bulbs in warm white. Every run is custom cut to that roofline's measurements, so the finished line looks clean and deliberate rather than draped.
Carson Brenny, the owner, handles every display from the first measurement to the spring takedown, with no crews or subcontractors, so the person who designs your roofline is the person who hangs it.

SEASON-LONG WARRANTY
On three-year contracts, if a bulb goes out, an outlet trips or a timer resets, we come and fix it free within 48 hours.

LINO LAKES SPECIFICS
What holiday lighting means in Lino Lakes
The local conditions that shape how Glass House approaches holiday lighting in Lino Lakes, and the standards it holds to on every visit.
TREES
Oak care and 10,000 ash
Lino Lakes advises residents not to prune or wound oaks in April, May or June because of oak wilt, and the city predicts it could lose as many as 10,000 trees to emerald ash borer. Oak shade keeps roofs and siding damp, which algae and moss need, and oak leaves fill gutters each fall. Dying ash turn brittle and drop limbs and twigs onto roofs and into gutters. Displays follow the roofline only, so the trees themselves are left unlit.
ELECTRICAL
Outlets and wiring
The display runs from your exterior outlets on its timer. Glass House is not an electrical service and does not inspect or repair outlets or wiring, so a faulty outlet, a GFCI problem or an electrical-supply issue belongs with an electrician. If something looks unsafe, we tell you before we install.
WINTER WORK
The one service without water
Holiday lighting is the one Glass House service that needs no water, which is why it carries on after homeowners shut off their outside spigots and it gets too cold to clean efficiently. It is the winter half of the year, and it runs on nothing more than your exterior outlets and a timer.
OWNER-OPERATED
One person from quote to finish
Glass House is owner-operated and insured to $2M, with no crews, subcontractors or handoffs. Carson Brenny quotes your home, does the work himself and walks the finished job with you before he calls it done. The person who explains the method, the limits and the price is the same person who keeps those promises on the day.

HOW IT WORKS
From consultation to storage
Full service means you never handle a ladder or a box of lights. It is not an upsell; it is the service.
THE 50% SEASONAL DEPOSIT
Your lights are custom cut and ordered for your home before install, so each season begins with a 50% deposit. The deposit is applied to your final invoice.
01
Consultation
We talk through your home and your roofline, and Carson measures the runs the lights will cover. That measurement is what your quote is built on, so nothing is priced from a guess.
02
A mockup first
You see a mockup of the lights before anything is cut, so changes happen on paper rather than on your roof, and everyone agrees on the finished look before the lights are ordered.
03
You pick your install week
Installs start November 1. Choose the week that works for you, and your lights are cut to your roofline ahead of it, so they are ready to hang on install day.
04
Install and timer
We hang every run and set the timer before we leave, so the lights come on and go off by themselves all season. You never need to climb a ladder or untangle a strand.
05
Takedown and storage
Takedown is included with both contracts. On a three-year contract your lights are stored through the off season, then go back up the next year at the same locked rate.
FOR LINO LAKES HOMES
What to know before your visit
EARLY FALL
Book and design
Lighting books from early fall, while cleaning season is still running, so the design is settled well before installs begin.
NOVEMBER
Installed and timed
During the install, Carson sets the timer, so the display turns on and off by itself through the holidays with nothing for you to manage.
WINTER
Ice on the roofline
If ice builds along the eaves during the season, steam ice dam removal is on call through the winter and is quoted for your roof.
SPRING
Down once the season ends
The lights come down in spring, once the season is over, and there is nothing for you to store, sort or climb for.

THE OWNER
The person who quotes your home does the work
Glass House is owned and run by Carson Brenny, with no crews, subcontractors or handoffs. He grew up in Ham Lake, went to Blaine High School and has worked full-time in exterior cleaning for six years. The person who quotes your home is the person who arrives, does the work and walks it with you at the end.
Every job receives the gentlest method that will do the work, because too much force or too strong a mix can cause damage that no cleaning undoes. Every homeowner receives a clear explanation of what is on the house, why the method was chosen and what cleaning can and cannot fix, before any money is spent.
IN CARSON'S WORDS
“It's my neighbors' homes: their biggest investment, one of the places they spend the most time, and where the people they care about most live. It's something everyone should enjoy, and I believe that.”
Carson Brenny, owner

LINO LAKES QUESTIONS
Holiday Lighting in Lino Lakes: FAQ
When do you install lights in Lino Lakes?
Installs start November 1, and each home's week is chosen after its mockup. Exterior cleaning continues through November 15, so the two seasons overlap for two weeks, and a final fall window cleaning can be booked in the same stretch as your lights.
Do you serve all of Lino Lakes?
Yes, every neighborhood in Lino Lakes. Glass House is based in Ham Lake, and Lino Lakes is part of its regular north metro service area, so there is no trip fee. Carson quotes, cleans and walks every job himself, wherever in Lino Lakes your home is.
How much does holiday lighting cost?
A one-year lease starts at $700, with a 100 linear foot minimum, and a three-year contract saves 15%. Deluxe Holiday Lighting typically runs $595–$1,200 for our full service on a three-year contract, warranty and storage included. Every home is different, so Carson confirms the exact price for yours. Most homes have 100 to 200 feet of roofline, and Carson measures yours before confirming.
What is the difference between one year and three?
A one-year lease is the full rate with no warranty, and we take the lights back after the season. A three-year contract is 15% off, with that rate locked for all three seasons and the Season-Long Warranty and off-season storage included. The lights and the work are the same either way.
Can I choose a color, or have my trees lit?
Glass House lights rooflines only, in deluxe warm white C9s, and does not light trees, bushes or decor beyond the roofline. Keeping to one color and one kind of install is how we keep quality high, rates competitive and warranty parts in stock. If you would like more lit, we will still quote your roofline.
What if a bulb goes out?
On a three-year contract, let us know and we will fix it free within 48 hours, because the Season-Long Warranty covers bulbs, tripped outlets, reset timers and anything else that affects how the lights perform. We keep extra bulbs and timers in stock. A one-year lease does not include a warranty.
