CARSON'S STORY

From growing up in Ham Lake, to building a specialist service company on his own.

Carson Brenny grew up in Ham Lake, attended Blaine High School, and worked a range of jobs early on, from retail to more labor-intensive work like lawn care. In 2020, one of his best friends asked if he wanted to leave lawn care and try window cleaning instead. He took the leap.

The Beginning

The beginning was not effortless

At first, Carson was not naturally great at it, and heights were a real fear. But over time, he got more comfortable, became more capable, and found something he genuinely loved in the work. What appealed to him most was the clarity of the standard: whatever you are cleaning should be left clean.

Obsession

Learning became the obsession

Carson became a sponge for techniques, process, and craft. Over the next few years, he trained people, handled sales, and worked his way into upper management. The deeper he got into the industry, the more seriously he took the details behind doing the work well.

The Journey

Glass House started in 2025

About four years into his time with that company, Carson had an honest conversation with the owner about long-term goals and the idea of starting his own business. Instead of pushing back, the owner encouraged him. In 2025, Carson founded Glass House Window Cleaning & Seasonal Services.

WHY GLASS HOUSE EXISTS

Built around care, communication, and craftmanship instead of crew size and volume.

Earlier in his career, Carson was more focused on efficiency and volume. Today, he describes himself more as a specialist. Because Glass House is owner operated, without the goal of building a large crew, clients get an unusually direct level of care from the same person from start to finish.

Quality over speed

Glass House is not built around how quickly as many jobs as possible can be finished. It is built around how well the work can be done. Carson will fit in about 2–4 homes per day on average depending on the scope, but he will not rush to hit a volume target.

Relationships matter as much as results

Last year alone, Carson connected with and serviced over 200 homes. For him, the relationships built through the work matter just as much as the finished result. He wants clients for decades, not just a few transactions.

Education is part of the service

Carson wants his services to be as educational as they are effective. He cares about helping homeowners understand how to care for their property, what caused the issue, and how to prevent expensive maintenance later.

STANDARDS

What Carson refuses to compromise on.

The core of Glass House is not just “doing a good job.” It is keeping a very specific standard for the quality of the work, the way the property is treated, and the way the client is communicated with throughout the service.

Quality

If Carson is not satisfied with the result, the job is not finished. He cannot promise perfection in every situation if achieving that would damage property, but he pushes as close as possible without crossing the line into carelessness.

Property protection and safety

Carson refuses to compromise the condition of the property or his own safety to create a superficial win. Method discipline matters. Scope boundaries matter. Protecting the asset is part of the service.

Client satisfaction

Carson always checks to make sure he and the client feel good about the result. He wants people to feel relieved, understood, confident, educated, and worry free — like something real was taken off their plate, not added to it.

WHY CLIENTS TRUST HIM

Not a magician. Honest, communicative, and exceptionally consistent.

Carson describes his value in plain terms: he is here to help fix the issue, not upsell people into services they do not need. He provides education, documentation, notation, before-and-after photos, and straightforward communication throughout the job.

“I don’t over promise. I'd rather over deliver.”

That philosophy runs through the whole company. Carson says exactly what he will do and then works hard to deliver more care and better results than people expected.

Reliable specialist, not generic contractor

He has worked on some of Minnesota’s most expensive and iconic properties, with advanced pure-water, soft-wash, solar-cleaning, and stain-removal capabilities that let him handle far more than routine exterior work.

Stress-free luxury service

Carson designed every process at Glass House to feel seamless and mindful. These are meant to be stress-free luxury services with the most delicate approach possible — not noisy, sloppy service calls that create more frustration than they solve.

FAMILY INFLUENCE

"Transparency & Care, Priced Fair" did not come out of nowhere.

A major part of Carson’s business philosophy comes from his grandfather, who owned commercial properties and ran a successful construction business. He was successful, fair, honest, and cared deeply about people.

Do the right thing

From a young age, Carson watched what it looked like to build trust by doing the right thing and treating people fairly. That principle still shapes how he runs Glass House today. Anything worth doing, is worth doing well.

The motto came from that lesson

One line in particular stayed with Carson: “If you have a good product, you’re honest, and fair, there’s no reason someone would go elsewhere.” That became a major part of the thinking behind the Glass House motto, Transparency & Care, Priced Fair.

Great businesses are not built alone

His grandfather always said he could not have done it alone. By surrounding himself with professionals he could rely on, he was able to take care of people in a way most could not. That idea still influences the way Carson thinks about trusted partners, referrals, and long-term relationships.

OUTSIDE OF WORK

Deeply Minnesotan, and very much a real person.

Carson grew up marching in drum lines across Minnesota and also played violin. As an adult, he drums less, but has picked up guitar, sings, and loves photography. He enjoys hiking, talking to people probably a little too much, and is a huge Minnesota Timberwolves fan — especially Jaden McDaniels and the way his game has progressed.

Music and rhythm

Drum lines, violin, guitar, and singing all shaped Carson’s life long before Glass House existed. That artistic side still shows up in how detail oriented and process driven he is.

Photography and observation

Carson loves photography, which pairs naturally with how closely he notices surfaces, detail, finish quality, and before-and-after change in the field.

People and place matter

He genuinely enjoys talking with people, serving Minnesotans, and building relationships through the work — which is a big part of why the company feels personal instead of corporate.

FAQ

Questions people often have after learning Carson’s story.

The Meet The Owner page should help people understand not only who Carson is, but what kind of experience they can expect when they hire Glass House.

Is Glass House really owner operated?

Yes. Carson Brenny is the sole Owner & Operator of Glass House Window Cleaning & Seasonal Services, and the company is intentionally built around that owner-operated standard of care.

What does Carson care about most in the work?

Quality, property protection, safety, communication, and client satisfaction. He wants clients to feel relieved, understood, educated, confident, and genuinely taken care of throughout the service.

Does Carson mainly work with homeowners or commercial clients?

The majority of the work tends to be with homeowners, but Glass House also serves commercial owners, property managers, and HOA communities — especially where specialist-level care and clearer communication matter.

What makes Carson different from a larger crew-based company?

He is not trying to build a large volume operation. The company is designed around specialist-level execution, higher attention to detail, more direct communication, and longer client relationships rather than speed and scale for their own sake.

What does “Transparency & Care, Priced Fair” mean in practice?

It means saying exactly what will be done, setting honest expectations, treating people fairly, protecting the property, and delivering a level of care that makes people feel there is no good reason to go elsewhere.

What kind of experience should clients expect when they hire Glass House?

Clients should expect direct communication, high detail standards, honest scope conversations, and a more personal owner-operated experience from start to finish.

WHO HE SERVICES

Homeowners, Communities & Offices.
Built to serve the full property-care picture.

Most of the work Glass House does is with homeowners, but Carson wants to speak to homeowners, commercial property owners, and HOA communities alike. The larger point is simple: Glass House does not offer anything it cannot do to an exceptionally high standard.

Homeowners

The majority of the work tends to be residential, where education, communication, convenience, and a stress-free experience matter just as much as the finished result.

Commercial and HOA clients

Carson has worked with hundreds of property managers, thousands of homeowners, and many property-management groups. That experience shows up in the commercial pages, which are written more like authority pages than generic service blurbs.

All services reflect the same identity

Window Cleaning, Gutter Cleaning, Pressure & Soft Washing, Solar Cleaning, Stain Removal, Holiday Lighting, and seasonal services all speak to the same standard because Glass House does not keep services on the menu unless Carson believes they can be delivered exceptionally well.
