GLASS TYPES WE CLEAN
If it has glass, Glass House can probably clean it.
Standard panes, casement windows, big picture glass, doors, and double hung windows are only part of the picture.
Homes often have skylights, storm panes, Eze-Breeze style panels, divided-light windows with grids, and harder-to-reach specialty glass. We clean it all.
Standard windows
Single-hung, double-hung, casement, and common residential windows are cleaned with the same detail-first approach used on larger or more specialized glass.
Skylights
Skylights often collect film, pollen, and spotting that homeowners cannot safely reach. Glass House handles skylights with the right ladders, poles, and access methods.
Storm panes & French windows
Storm panels and divided-light windows require more patience, more detailing, and more edge work to look truly clean.
TOOLS, EQUIPMENT & CAPABILITIES
The right tools, systems, and chemistry for a cleaner result.
Glass House is not limited to one method, one tool, or one type of access. We use versatile, specialized equipment to clean just about anything, no matter the access.
If there is a will, there is a way.
Traditional detail tools
For hand-cleaned glass, Glass House uses Ettore channels and rubbers with a Moerman Excellerator 2.0 handle, XERO carbon-fiber trad poles, Moerman FLIQ mops, microfiber detailing tools, and ladder setups designed for property protection, versatile access, and, cleaner finishes.
Access equipment that expands what can be cleaned
28-foot and 20-foot Werner Equalizer ladders with standoffs, a 22-foot Gorilla ladder, and a 3-step ladder help support skylights, lakefront homes, tall interiors, and more difficult layouts.
Pure water & high-access capability
For taller exterior glass and harder-to-reach windows, Glass House uses a XERO Wall Mount System in the van along with a XERO 60 Pro Ultralight Carbon Fiber Pole to purify even hard water and leave glass spot-free. Our Wall Mount System consists of three 41 inch long reverse osmosis filters, one 21 inch deionization filter, and one 21 in carbon filter with inline TDS meters, pressure gauges, and booster pumps.
That versatility helps Glass House solve access challenges that many companies simply cannot handle as well.
Versatile chemistry for real-world issues
Some surfaces and panes need more than soap and water. Standard glass mixes, winter mixes, hard water restoration chemistry, and specialty products help solve tougher buildup and staining without forcing one approach onto every problem.
CLEANING METHODS
Traditional window cleaning and pure water cleaning.
They solve different problems, work best in different situations, and create their best results in different ways.
Glass House uses both because relying on only one method limits what a company can do well.
Traditional window cleaning
Traditional cleaning uses professional squeegees, mops, detailing towels, poles, and hand-finishing tools to clean the glass directly. It is often the best choice for interior windows, detailed exterior windows, divided-light windows with grids, storm panes, and skylights that need close attention.
Pure water window cleaning
Pure water cleaning uses professionally purified 0 ppm water delivered through specialized poles and brushes. Because the water is stripped of minerals, it dries spot-free on the glass. This method is especially useful for taller exterior glass, difficult access situations, and larger exterior layouts.
Why Glass House uses both
Some companies are locked into one approach. Glass House can switch between traditional hand-cleaning and purified water systems based on the glass type, height, access, condition, and finish the window requires.
What that means for the homeowner
Whether the home has standard windows, skylights, grids, Eze-Breeze style panels, storm panes, or hard-to-reach exterior glass, the goal stays the same: use the right method and deliver flawless results.

FAQ
Window Cleaning questions homeowners ask before booking.
This FAQ should help break down packages, glass types, methods, guarantees, and where specialty issues belong before requesting a quote.
What is the difference between Basic, Standard, and Premium Window Cleaning?
Basic focuses on exterior glass only, with a courtesy wipe of the exterior frames and sills. Standard includes interior and exterior glass, frames, and sills. Premium includes interior and exterior glass, plus screen cleaning, track cleaning, frames, and sills for a more complete window-system refresh.
Do you clean skylights, storm panes, grids, Eze-Breeze panes, and specialty glass?
Glass House offers Residential Services, Commercial & HOA Services, Winter Services, Solar Cleaning, Stain Removal, and related specialty work across the exterior-maintenance categories shown throughout the site.
How do I know which service page I need?
Yes. If it has glass, Glass House is generally prepared to clean it. That includes skylights, storm panes, grids, standard panes, Eze-Breeze panels, and many other residential glass configurations.
Do you use pure water or traditional window cleaning?
Both. Glass House uses the right approach for any situation. Some windows benefit from traditional detailing. Others benefit from purified-water access. The method should match the glass, the access, and the finish you are trying to achieve.
What is covered by the Streak-Free Guarantee and Rain Guarantee?
The Streak-Free Guarantee covers all window cleaning services. If you see a streak, Glass House will come back within 72 hours to touch it up at no charge. The 10-Day Rain Guarantee applies to Premium Window Cleaning and The Works.
Do you clean hard water stains, paint, or construction debris as part of regular window cleaning?
Not automatically. Hard water staining and construction debris on glass can require specialty treatment. Those are better handled through our Hard Water Stain Removal or Construction Cleaning services.
How often should windows be cleaned?
That depends on the home, trees, traffic, pollen, sprinkler exposure, and the level of visibility you want to maintain. Many homeowners clean windows seasonally, while others book before hosting, listing, or after a season of heavy buildup.
